The clam shell box, open, with the portfolio. The box has balsa wood partitions, completely covered in a black shantung book cloth, in its base for a smaller, tear sheet book to fit into. The tear sheet book is removed with a black lifting ribbon. Both the portfolio and the clam shell box were covered with a highly textured wall covering material, and were completely lined in, and bound with, black shantung book cloth. The photographer's logo was foil stamped in red foil onto a piece of black shantung book cloth which was imbedded into each of the covers.
