Nicole Andersen Book Arts was established with the goal of creating the highest quality custom hand bound books, albums, portfolios, and boxes. It is our mission to use only the finest materials and supplies available, and to create the most fitting album, portfolio, or box for our clients. Everything made by Nicole Andersen Book Arts is created by hand, with the utmost attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoy working on custom requests -- Nicole Andersen Book Arts thrives on the challenge of unordinary requests for oddly shaped items, rare materials, and unusual colors and textures.

Nicole Andersen Book Arts is located an hour and a half northeast of San Francisco in Sacramento, California.

Nicole Andersen has trained with some of the most highly regarded and esteemed bookbinders in Northern California. She began her training at Mills College in Oakland, California with Julie Chen, a distinguished book artist. Later, through Julie, Nicole was introduced to Eleanore Ramsey, a greatly celebrated fine hand bookbinder. Nicole immediately started to study with her for her famous design French bindings, and was a student of hers for several years.
